Temporary Closure of Gulf County Scallop Season: The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) has announced a temporary closure of recreational bay scallop harvest in the Gulf County Zone, which includes St. Joseph Bay. This precaution is due to the presence of toxin-producing algae.
